Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Pulau Learning website at pulauleas.site and your enrolment in any course offered by Pulau Learning Pte. Ltd., a company incorporated in Singapore with its registered office at 9 Raffles Place, #24-01, Singapore 048619 ("Pulau Learning", "we", "us", "our").
By using this website or enrolling in a course, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or enrol in any course.
1. Definitions
- "Agreement" means these Terms together with any enrolment confirmation we provide.
- "Course" means any financial education programme offered by Pulau Learning.
- "Materials" means all readings, worksheets, printable pages, and other content provided as part of a Course.
- "Participant" means any individual who has enrolled in a Course.
- "Website" means the website at pulauleas.site.
2. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms apply to all visitors to the Website and all Participants. You must be at least 18 years old to enrol in a Course. By submitting an enrolment payment, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement.
3. Nature of Services
Pulau Learning provides financial education courses. Our Courses are educational in nature and designed to improve your understanding of financial concepts relevant to Singapore residents. We do not hold a Financial Adviser's Licence under the Financial Advisers Act (Cap. 110) and do not provide regulated financial advice, investment recommendations, or personalised financial planning services. Nothing in any Course, worksheet, or communication from Pulau Learning constitutes financial advice.
4. Enrolment
Enrolment in a Course is confirmed upon receipt of full payment of the applicable course fee. Pulau Learning reserves the right to decline any enrolment at its discretion. Course places are subject to availability.
5. Course Fees and Payment
- All course fees are quoted and payable in Singapore Dollars (SGD).
- Fees are displayed on the Solutions page and are correct at the time of publication. We reserve the right to change fees for future cohorts.
- Payment is due in full at the time of enrolment. We do not offer instalment arrangements unless separately agreed in writing.
- Payment processing is handled by a third-party provider. Pulau Learning does not store card or bank details.
6. Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Withdrawal at least 7 calendar days before course start: full refund of course fees, less any payment processing costs.
- Withdrawal fewer than 7 calendar days before course start: no refund. A credit note may be issued at our discretion, applicable to a future cohort.
- After course commencement: no refund or credit note.
- Cancellation by Pulau Learning: if we cancel a cohort before it commences, a full refund will be issued within fourteen calendar days.

7. Participant Responsibilities
As a Participant, you agree to:
- Attend scheduled sessions with reasonable punctuality
- Treat instructors and other participants with courtesy and respect
- Use course materials for your own personal learning purposes only
- Not record, reproduce, redistribute, or resell any course materials without our written consent
- Not use any information shared in discussion sessions in a way that identifies or disadvantages other participants
8. Intellectual Property
All course materials, including readings, worksheets, printable pages, and session content, are the intellectual property of Pulau Learning. We grant Participants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use materials for personal educational purposes only. This licence does not extend to reproduction for commercial purposes, redistribution, or creation of derivative works.
9. Disclaimers
- Courses are provided for educational purposes only. Content is not a substitute for personalised financial, legal, or tax advice.
- We take care to keep course materials accurate and current, but we make no representations or warranties about the completeness, accuracy, or fitness for purpose of the materials.
- Financial regulations and CPF/SRS rules change over time. Participants should verify any time-sensitive information directly with CPF Board, IRAS, or a licensed adviser.
- Course materials are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Singapore law, Pulau Learning's total liability to any Participant arising from or in connection with a Course shall not exceed the course fee paid by that Participant. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from enrolment in or use of any course.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Pulau Learning against any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or your use of course materials in a manner inconsistent with the licence granted under Section 8.
12. Termination
Pulau Learning may remove a Participant from a course without refund if the Participant engages in conduct that disrupts the course, breaches these Terms, or is otherwise inappropriate. We will give notice where practicable.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any dispute arising from these Terms or any Course shall first be submitted to good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within thirty days, disputes shall be referred to the Singapore Mediation Centre before any litigation is commenced. The courts of Singapore shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any matter that proceeds to litigation.
14. General
- Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with any enrolment confirmation, constitute the entire agreement between you and Pulau Learning.
- Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
- Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that right.
- Assignment: You may not assign your rights under these Terms. We may assign ours in connection with a business transfer.
- Notices: Formal notices should be sent by email to [email protected] or by post to our registered address.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued enrolment or use of the Website after a change constitutes acceptance. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
